Chat History
Chat history allows you to save all your past IM conversations. In the Chat History window
you can click on a contacts name and see all your previous chats with that person listed by
date. IM chats often contain important information and now it's easily accessible. This is
an optional feature which can be turned on and off at anytime.
Want to take a peak at your past conversations? The chat history feature makes this easy to
do. If you've already closed an IM window, simply re-open a chat session with that same contact
and your past conversations will appear, with the date and time they took place. You can also
select Chat History from the View menu, to see a complete listing of your conversations. To
turn this feature on and off, go to the Edit -> Options menu and select Chat. In the Options
- Chat window you can also modify the amount of chat history to be shown in IM windows.
